This attached to our treehouse about 6 feet off the ground. We attached the ropes under 1 foot peaks from Lowes and had them hammered into the ground to an anchor. my kids love it! When docked, its got just enough wobble to make it challenging and fun, but easy enough for my 4 year olds to climb.
